Frequently asked questions
How much does a project cost?
It depends on scope, but I'll always give you a fixed quote or a clear day-rate estimate before starting. Small WordPress builds typically start around £3k; Laravel applications are scoped individually.
How quickly can you start?
Usually within two to four weeks. For urgent fixes or agency overflow I can often pick things up sooner. Just ask.
Do you work with digital agencies?
Yes. I work with digital and creative agencies on a freelance and white-label basis, either as additional capacity during busy periods or as an ongoing development partner. I can work under your brand, use your existing tools and communicate directly with clients where required.
Do you do design as well?
I focus on development and work from your designs or your designer's files. If you don't have a designer, I can recommend people I work with regularly.
Can you take over an existing site?
Yes. I'll start with a short audit so we both know what's there (plugins, hosting, code quality and any technical debt) before recommending the best way forward.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes, either on a monthly retainer with guaranteed hours or ad hoc at an agreed day rate. Updates, security, fixes and small features are all covered.
Will I own the code?
Always. Everything is handed over in your repository with documentation. No lock-in and no proprietary page builders.
